UDHAMPUR, June 2: Vice Chairperson of District Development Council Udhampur, Juhi Manhas Pathania, emphasized the importance of quality and time-bound completion of public projects. She addressed a large gathering at Janta Darbars held in Pathwar and Babey and inaugurated two newly constructed Community Halls in Babey Block Khoon and Paroo (Pathwar).
During the inauguration, Vice Chairperson Pathania highlighted the significance of community spaces in promoting social cohesion and community development. She expressed optimism that the Community Halls would serve as valuable assets where residents can organize social gatherings, festivals, and meetings, fostering a sense of unity within the community.
At the Janta Darbars in Babey and Pathwar, Vice Chairperson Pathania listened to the grievances and demands of the people. Various issues such as road maintenance, encroachment removal, water supply augmentation, irrigation facilities, PM-KISAN installment problems, and other matters of public importance were discussed in detail.
Addressing the public, Vice Chairperson Pathania emphasized the government's commitment to good governance and easy access to public services. She acknowledged the important role of Panches/Sarpanches in ensuring proactive and participative administration and sought their cooperation in addressing vital public issues. She assured them of administrative support for implementing developmental projects and promptly addressing the raised concerns.
Vice Chairperson Pathania encouraged the public to provide suggestions to improve the development scenario in their respective wards, emphasizing the need for a strong rapport between the administration and the people. She urged them to work with dedication to enhance the living standards in rural areas.
The meeting was attended by officials from various departments, along with local representatives including Sarpanch S.K. Bair, Sarpanch Bilaspur Manoj Verma, Sarpanch Babey Kamala Devi, Naib Sarpanch Khoon Nimrata Bali, Naib Sarpanch Babey Tirth Ram, Renu Sharma, Ved Sharma, Surinder Mankotia, Saif Ali, Shiv Ram, and PRIs of Block Khoon. |
