Rattan Lal Gupta criticizes BJP's 'Maha Jan Samparak Abhiyan'

Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 2: Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President of Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), Jammu, has called on the people to question the leaders and workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during their much-hyped 'Maha Jan Samparak Abhiyan'. He highlights the need to ask what there is to celebrate in the nine years of BJP's governance, which has only brought misery to the people. Gupta strongly condemns the celebration of failures by the BJP Government, considering it a mockery of the party.
In a statement released to the media today, the senior leader of the National Conference points out that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have been the worst victims of the BJP's misrule and its anti-people policies imposed on the Union Territory.
Gupta highlights the complete failure of the Union Territory Administration, which has been governing Jammu and Kashmir for the past nine years, in resolving the power crisis. The power situation has deteriorated significantly during this period due to the use of substandard materials such as transformers and electric wires, reflecting the prevalent corruption during the BJP's nine-year rule.
He urges people to question the Modi Government on its failure to address the poor power scenario in the Jammu region.
The senior NC leader further criticizes the BJP Government for the worsening drinking water and irrigation situation. The water crisis has worsened over the nine years of BJP rule, with even the capital city of Jammu facing a shortage of drinking water supply. Farmers are also suffering due to irregular power and water supply, jeopardizing their crops.
Gupta suggests asking the BJP leaders why the scarcity of drinking water was not addressed during their nine-year rule.
He also raises concerns about the poor state of the health sector, highlighting the lack of doctors in most Primary Health Centers (PHCs) across the Jammu Province, with some PHCs even lacking paramedics.
Gupta urges people to demand answers from the LG Government regarding the inadequate number of doctors and paramedics in health centers across the Jammu region.
