| PG college Rajouri organizes biodiversity quiz contest | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, June 3: The Department of Environmental Sciences, in collaboration with the Eco Club and NSS units of PG College Rajouri, organized a Quiz Contest on Biodiversity as part of the World Environment Day 2023 celebrations. The event, held under the banner of Mission Life, aimed to raise environmental awareness and address global challenges. Participants from various higher education institutions across the state joined the online contest, showcasing significant participation.
Outstanding performers who scored 70% or more in the quiz received instant e-certificates as a recognition of their achievement. Dr. Shamim Ahmed Azad, the Principal of the college, commended the department for organizing such a impactful event. Dr. Naseem Ahmed, the NSS Program Officer, praised the well-coordinated effort, while Dr. Junaid Jazib, the Head of the Department of Environmental Sciences and the program coordinator, emphasized the significance of awareness in tackling current environmental issues.
The successful coordination of the program was led by Dr. Junaid Ahmed, Assistant Professor of Environmental Sciences. This event was part of a series of activities organized under the Mission Life program in connection with World Environment Day 2023. |
