Stephens Group of Institutions hosts memorable freshers party

Jammu, June 3: Stephens Group of Institutions, under the aegis of Dr. Aparna Educational Trust, recently organized a remarkable Freshers party at Baba Jitto Auditorium with great enthusiasm. The theme of the party was 'Novice Newbies Fiesta'.
The event was graced by Dr. Kamal Saini (IPS IGS Retd.) as the Chief Guest and Dr. Narinder Bhatial (Medical Superintendent, Govt Medical Hospital Jammu) as the Guest of Honour. Satvinder Saini (Director, Stephens International Public School) and Adv. Kunal Saini (Director, Stephens College of Nursing & Stephens Institute of Paramedical Sciences) were the Special Guests of the event.
The Chief Guest and Guest of Honour were felicitated by. Manoj Kotru (Administrator) and Prof. Munni Dhar (Principal SCON) for their kind support and contribution. They highly appreciated the efforts of the teachers and students involved in organizing such a wonderful program. They also praised the sincere contribution of the nurses towards society and hospitals.
The event was organized under the guidance of Manoj Kotru (Administrator SCON) and Prof. Munni Dhar (Principal SCON).. Manoj Kotru, Prof. Munni Dhar, and Prof. Kheema Peshin (Vice Principal SCON) blessed the students and congratulated the winners and participants for their outstanding performances.
The coordination of the program was handled by Shabnam Dhiman and Sheetal, Assistant Professors, with the support of Professor Ritu Gupta, the Activity Incharge. The second-year B.Sc(N) and GNM students worked diligently to make the event successful.
The Freshers Party began with an introduction to the theme by Hamid Maqbool (B.Sc(N) 2nd year) and Mansi Salotra (GNM 1st year), followed by the lighting of the lamp and a captivating Ganesh Vandana. Professor Munni Dhar welcomed everyone and wished the freshers good luck for their bright careers.
The freshers participated in three rounds of modeling, and based on their attire, performance, and presentation, tags were awarded to them. Aman Sharma and Nisha Bhau were crowned Fresher and Ms. Fresher from Stephens College of Nursing, while Mr. Jaswant Singh and . Simran Jeet Kour were accorded the titles from Stephens Institute of Paramedical Sciences. Muzamil Ahmed and Radhika Shan received the Title of Talent, and . Syed Faheem and Mehnaz Nazir were titled Mr. Personality and Ms. Personality, respectively.
The students of B.Sc(N) 1st year presented a magnificent Kashmiri Dance, while the students of GNM 1st year showcased an amazing Dogri performance, reflecting the rich Dogri culture. The girls from B.Sc(N) 1st year and GNM 1st year delivered a splendid Bollywood performance. Short funny acts by Shariq and Akshit mesmerized the audience, and the funny dance by B.Sc(N) 2nd year entertained everyone.
The show-stoppers of the Freshers party were the energetic Bhangra and Garba performances, which enthralled the attendees, and everyone couldn't resist tapping their feet. The event was smoothly anchored by Hamid, Mansi, Akshit, Rahila, Sehar, Aryan, Nusrat, and Shariq.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Akshat Sharma from B.Sc(N) 2nd year. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the party and the program.
