Civil Work completed on 180 bedded additional building of DH Rajouri

RAJOURI, June 4: To review the progress of work on the 180-bedded additional building, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today visited District Hospital at Kheora.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inspected the progress and quality of the work. He was informed that the civil work on the building has been completed, while the sanitation and electrical works are pending.
The DC asked the concerned officers to expedite the pending work at the earliest so that the building can be handed over to the Health Department and put to use for benefit of the public.
Meanwhile, the DC also inspected the blood bank and directed the staff to start the component facilities to improve the blood transfusion services in the region.
The DC emphasized that the completion of the pending work of the additional building will greatly benefit the people of Rajouri and surrounding areas.
The DC’s visit to the District Hospital bears testament to the government’s commitment to improve healthcare facilities in the region. The administration is taking all necessary steps to ensure that the people of Rajouri have access to quality healthcare services.
Among others who accompanied the DC during the visit were Principal GMC Rajouri, Dr AmarJeet Singh; MS DH, Dr Mehmood Bajar; EXEN PWD (R&B) Rajouri, Tasadaq Hussain and EXEN Jal Shakti Rajouri, Ashwini Sharma.
