| BMS demands ESI & PF coverage for workers in industrial areas | | |

Udhampur, June 4: A meeting of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh District committee Udhampur held at Udhampur under the president ship of district president Anil Verma in which Harbans Choudhary working President BMS and Sh. Ashok choudhary sangathan mantrai BMS were also present in the meeting, and workers issues were discussed in detail aganwadi workers those who have been disengaged or those who are working their problems were discussed as Govt failed to provide social security retiremental benefits and pending wages has been also not cleared to these workers so for, PHE daily wagers those who have attain the age of sixty years they have been sent to home even after serving the department for 20-25 years without any retiremental benefits it is demanded that these low paid employees be given their legitimate dues further workers of industrial belt battal ballian also highlighted that they are not covered under ESI and PF it was demanded that PF ad ESI officials have to make special drive and cover all the left out workers failing which protest will be held against ESI & PF at Jammu. District committee Udhampur also offered to host state BMS conference at Udhampur, among others Parshotam Singh General Secretary mata vaishno devi Shrine board employees union, Kuldeep Singh district secretary Udhampur, sanjay Sharma, Subash Chander, Mahesh singh, Sushma Devi, Swarna Devi, sunita Devi and others were present in the meeting said in a press release. |
