"Oasis '23" summer camp concludes at Jodhamal

JAMMU, June 17: Jodhamal Public School in Jammu organized a two-week Summer Camp called "Oasis '23" from 3rd June to 15th June '23. The camp was held in conjunction with special classes for 11th and 12th-grade students. Over 300 children participated in the camp, exploring their potential and expressing their creativity through various activities. The primary objective of the camp was to nurture and guide the young students in their chosen activities, providing them with an opportunity to learn and create lasting memories.
A wide range of activities were offered during the camp, including swimming, basketball, football, skating, guitar, Casio, vocal music, art and craft, painting, off-fire cooking, dance, and dramatics. The students were able to choose their preferred activities and learn the intricacies of their chosen genres.
The grand finale of the Summer Camp saw the attendance of all the parents, who enjoyed watching their children perform and appreciated the efforts of the school. The valedictory ceremony showcased the performances of the students in music, dance, and drama on stage. Additionally, students involved in art & craft, painting, and off-fire cooking set up stalls and exhibitions, providing a visual treat for all attendees. The students demonstrated what they had learned during the two weeks of the Summer Camp.
The mentors who guided the young participants included Sugandha for Casio, Joel for guitar, Shaveta Manga and Ms. Sonika for art & craft and painting, Aarti Mahajan for dramatics, Vishakha for vocal music, Shallu Sharma for off-fire cooking and culinary skills, Shivali Rai for dance, and Romesh, Ritesh, and Vinod for swimming, football, skating, and basketball, respectively. Deepak provided support in musical activities, and Ms. Deepali Puri, the CCA Coordinator for the Junior School, coordinated the Summer Camps.
Furthermore, some students from classes 8th to 10th had gone for an adventure camp near Shimla in Himachal Pradesh.
