Azad chairs meeting in Anantnag, emphasizes public outreach

ANANTNAG, June 17: Ghulam Nabi Azad, chairman of the Democratic Progressive Azad Party, chaired a meeting in Anantnag where he urged the district office bearers to strengthen the party's cadre and actively engage with the people to address their genuine grievances. Azad emphasized the need for party workers to reach out to every corner of the Union Territory, interact with the public, and bring about a change in the current political system. He highlighted the importance of making people understand the party's agenda and encouraging them to join the movement for a better future in Jammu and Kashmir. Azad emphasized that DPAP is a party that challenges the status quo and advocates for the rights of the people, particularly the underprivileged. He commended the party workers for their efforts in addressing various public issues, such as forced land eviction, ration quotas, job aspirations, property tax, and electricity. Azad expressed his commitment to continue fighting for the rights of the people and stressed the significance of empowering individuals through political and economic means. He also outlined his vision for the development of Jammu and Kashmir as a world-class tourist destination if his party comes into power after the elections. Azad acknowledged the natural beauty and potential of the region and pledged to execute his ideas to uplift the state. The meeting was attended by prominent party members, including Taj Mohiuddin, G.M. Saroori, Ch Haroon Khatana, Mohd Amin Bhatt, Gulzar Ahmed Wani, Salman Nizami, Mohd Yousef Gorsi, Mir Zameer, Adv Saleem Parray, Sajida Begum, Mir Altaf, Anwar Phambra, Ab Rashid Bhatt, and others.
