New India, new Jammu Kashmir a reality under PM Modi: MP Khatana
6/18/2023 11:42:53 PM
Early Times Report

Rajouri, June 18: As part of the BJP's outreach program commemorating the completion of nine years of the Narendra Modi-led government, Rajya Sabha MP Er. Gulam Ali Khatana conducted the "Sampark Se Samarthan" campaign, a meeting with beneficiaries, and a Sanyukt Morcha Sammelan in remote and underdeveloped areas of Bakori, Peedi, Budhal, and the border town of Rajouri.
A significant number of people joined the BJP on this occasion, expressing their confidence in the policies and programs of the Modi government.
Addressing the gatherings, Er. Gulam Ali stated that under PM Modi's leadership, New India and New Jammu Kashmir have become a reality. He highlighted how Prime Minister Narendra Modi has elevated India's reputation worldwide while prioritizing the upliftment of the poor, downtrodden, and backward regions. He noted that the developmental progress made over the past nine years is truly remarkable, evident in the improved road infrastructure, business opportunities, healthcare facilities, transportation networks, and various other sectors. The government has provided free ration to 82 crore people, introduced initiatives like Make in India and Startups, enhanced border security, and significantly reduced corruption. Er. Gulam Ali emphasized that the benefits of government schemes now reach the common man through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Er. Gulam Ali expressed concern over the neglect of border districts Rajouri and Poonch by previous administrations, which has forced the local population to seek employment opportunities in countries like Saudi Arabia due to the lack of opportunities in their own region.
Criticizing the National Conference, Congress, and PDP, he accused the power brokers of these parties of exploiting the innocent people for their personal gain and treating political power as their family's inheritance. He highlighted the stark contrast between the opulent lifestyles of these politicians and the hardships faced by the common people.
MP Khatana urged the residents to strengthen the hands of the BJP and PM Modi in order to build a progressive and developed India.
