9 years of PM Modi: Rekha highlights Government's achievements

JAMMU, June 22: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) District President Jammu South today launched a door-to-door campaign to popularise the nine-year achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Rekha Mahajan under a door-to-door campaign in Bahu Constituency visits Senior Citizen's Rejuvenation Centre in Trikuta Nagar and handed over pamphlets describing the achievements of the Modi-led government. President Senior Citizen Rejuvenation Centre Baldev Raj Gupta, Shubchander Verma, and the team of senior citizens also performed Yoga in the program.
While addressing the gathering of the general populace Rekha Mahajan highlighted and explained how the Modi government had changed their lives in the last nine years with a slew of welfare schemes and massive infrastructure development in the union territory of J&K. In the last nine years, Rekha said that all senior citizens in India are taking advantage of many government-approved schemes. She said that the government will hike the Senior Citizens Savings Scheme upper limit from Rs 15 lakh to Rs 30 lakh. The government recently revised the interest rates for the scheme to 8 percent per annum for the fourth quarter, besides, the government will also launch a new small savings scheme, Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav Mahila Sammaan Bachat Patra, for women, Jan Dhan Yojana, PMAY and many other related public friendly schemes for the welfare of all domain of society.
Rekha Mahajan said that the country has witnessed "unprecedented" development in every sector with the mantra of "nation first" guiding PM Modi's policies. She stated in J&K that the Modi government's nine years have brought India safe borders and world-class infrastructure and increased its global esteem. "In the last nine years, the Modi government has given the nation four strong pillars, which are respect, internal and external security, the welfare of the underprivileged, and infrastructure development," BJP District President Rekha Mahajan said at a Senior Rejuvenation centre in Trikuta Nagar on the completion of nine years of the Modi government. She said that the last nine years have seen the emergence of a "new India".
