Accreditation workshop at National College of Education

JAMMU, June 22: National College of Education Purkhoo-Domana Jammu organized a one-day workshop aimed at faculty development, under the IQAC and NSS. The workshop focused on the topic "Revised Accreditation Framework for Affiliated Colleges." Renowned educationist Prof. Mohd Zuber, Dean of the School of Teacher Education at Cluster University of Jammu, was invited as the resource person for the program.
During the workshop, Prof. Mohd Zuber shed light on the functions of NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) and provided detailed guidance on various aspects related to NAAC, including eligibility criteria and the Quality Indicator Framework (QIF). His valuable insights and expertise enriched the understanding of NAAC procedures among the participants.
Dr. Manju Dwivedi, the Principal, delivered a warm welcome address to Prof. Mohd Zuber, expressing gratitude for his presence. She highlighted the significance of the workshop, emphasizing how it will contribute to better comprehension of NAAC procedures and enable the institution to aim for higher grades through the collective efforts of all stakeholders.
The program was hosted by senior faculty members Neetu Sharma and Yashumati Jamwal. On behalf of the management and faculty, Jamwal extended thanks to Prof. Mohd Zuber, expressing confidence in the beneficial impact of his expert guidance on the institution. Notable attendees included Er. Ajay Singh Jamwal, Dean of Administration, and faculty members Meenakshi Sharma, Aneesha Jamwal, Aarti Verma, Rajni Gupta, Mrs. Puju Gupta, Deepika Jasortia, Kusum Lata, Deepika Jamwal, Aditi Sharma, and Rashpal Singh.
The workshop provided an excellent platform for faculty members to enhance their understanding of the revised accreditation framework, thereby contributing to the overall development of the institution.
