Stolen wires recovered, theft case solved by Miran Sahib police

Jammu, July 18: A successful investigation conducted by the police team from PS Miran Sahib has led to the recovery of stolen wires and the arrest of one suspect involved in a theft case. The case was brought to the attention of PS Miran Sahib following information received regarding theft in the area falling under its jurisdiction.
Under the leadership of SDPO RS Pura Nikhil Gogna and with the assistance of SHO PS Miran Sahib Inspr Bopinder Singh, dedicated police teams tirelessly worked on the case. By utilizing CCTV footage from the area, the teams were able to identify and apprehend the suspected individual named Shiv Dayal, also known as Sunny. Shiv Dayal is the son of Rajinder Kumar and a resident of Chowala R.S. Pura, with an additional address at Telli Basti Bari Brahmana in Samba district.
During the questioning, the accused confessed his involvement in the theft case. Acting on his disclosure, the police recovered stolen cable wire (3 Phase) measuring approximately 260 meters and copper wire measuring approximately 90 meters from his possession. Additionally, a motor cycle bearing registration number JKOBX 3342, believed to be connected to the theft, was seized from the Dablehar area of R.S. Pura.
In response to these developments, a case with FIR No. 78/2023 under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code has been registered at PS Miran Sahib, and the accused has been placed under arrest. The investigation into the case is ongoing as authorities continue to gather evidence and gather further information related to the incident. The swift and efficient resolution of this theft case demonstrates the commitment of PS Miran Sahib in ensuring the safety and security of the local community.
The police authorities remain dedicated to their duty of preventing and solving crimes, and their efforts in recovering the stolen wires will help bring justice to the victims.
