| ADGP Jammu Zone conducts security, crime review meeting with officers in Udhampur | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 29: The Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) of Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh-IPS conducted a security and crime review meeting with supervisory officers of district Udhampur for heinous crimes and arrangements for Independence Day at DPO Udhampur. Stress was laid upon UAPA and NDPS cases especially for unearthing the forward and backward linkages in the drugs supply. He also directed the officers to conduct meticulous financial investigation in all NDPS cases. Investigation into cases of drug abuse and strategies to counter the drug menace was deliberated upon. During the meeting, Progress of investigation of UAP Act cases registered in district Udhampur was also discussed. ADGP Jammu also stressed upon quality investigation in the cases and proper follow up of cases till conviction. He also reviewed the security arrangements for the upcoming Independence Day function.
