DULHASTI, Aug 3: NHPC Dulhasti Power Station commemorated Indian Organ Donation Day on 03/08/2023 in line with the guidelines received from the Ministry of Power. The event was organized with the aim of raising awareness about the noble cause of organ donation and encouraging employees to pledge their support for this life-saving initiative. MK Kashyap, Group General Manager (In-Charge) of Dulhasti Power Station, led the event by administering the Organ Donation Pledge to the employees at the administrative building premises. Recognizing the significance of the occasion, all officers and employees actively participated in a webinar focused on kidney transplantation. In a heartfelt speech, MK Kashyap emphasized the importance of organ donation and urged everyone to consider donating their organs after death, citing the prevailing shortage of organs in the country. He encouraged the employees to contribute to this noble cause and make a positive impact on society. Throughout the day, other employees from various departments of the power station also took the Organ Donation pledge in their respective offices, signifying their commitment to supporting this humanitarian initiative. Dipankar Deb, General Manager (Medical Services), B D Mohrana, Group Deputy General Manager (Electrical), Davinder Koundel, Senior Manager (HR), Dr. Nasir Irfan, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, and other officials graced the occasion with their presence.
