| 08 vehicles involved in illegal mining seized by Jammu Police | | |

Jammu, Aug 3: In a quest to stern the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which police teams of PS Nagrota, PS Akhnoor, PS Miran Sahib, PP Phallian Mandal, PP Chatha and BPP Ganjansoo acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at a location in their respective area and seized 08 vehicles involved in illegal mining. Details of the vehicle seized are as under:
One Tractor Trolley without Registration No, by PS Nagrota.
Two Tractor Trollies bearing Registration Nos JK02CV-8524 and JK02CT-5954, by PS Akhnoor.
One Tractor Trolley without Registration No, by PP Phallian Mandal.
Two vehicles i.e one Tractor Trolley without Registration and one Tipper without Registration No, by PS Miran Sahib One Tractor Trolley bearing Chassis No MBNGAANHUMJC03078, by PP Chatha.
One Dumper bearing Registration No JK02DC-4864, BPP Ganjansoo.
The recoveries were made by SHO PS Nagrota Inspr Vishav Partap Singh, SHO PS Akhnoor Inspr Zaheer Mushtaq, I/C PP Phallian Mandal PSI Ajesh Singh Jamwal, I/C PP Chatha PSI Harjinder Paul Singh and I/C BPP Ganjansoo ASI Ravinder Bhushan in their respective jurisdictions.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
The mining was done in violation of order of Hon’ble High Court of J&k. In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action. |
