GDC Vijaypur holds Panch Pran pledge ceremony

Vijaypur, Aug 7: As part of a series of programs organized under the banner of ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh,’ a nationwide campaign that encompasses ‘Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav,’ ‘G20,’ and ‘Shikshit Bharat,’ the NSS unit (KHIDMAT) of Govt. Degree College Vijaypur hosted a Panch Pran Pledge taking ceremony.
The event aimed to highlight the five resolves outlined by the Prime Minister of India during the 2023 Independence Day address to the nation. The ceremony saw enthusiastic participation from the college’s Principal, teaching and non-teaching staff, and students.
The pledge, administered by the College Principal, Dr. Vandana Gupta, was recited in both English and Hindi, emphasizing the commitment to the nation’s development and prosperity.
Dr. Gupta underscored the significance of organizing the program to foster the betterment of all of humanity, which forms the fabric of the nation’s core culture. She further explained that the ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaign was initiated to honor the brave hearts of the country, especially the martyrs.
Coordinated by Dr. Naseem Chowdhary (NSS PO) and Dr. Shittal Sharma (Convenor NSS), the program witnessed active involvement from Prof. Poonam Kundan (Convenor Cultural Committee) and Prof. Anil Bhagat (HoD Commerce).
The Panch Pran Pledge ceremony served as a powerful expression of the college community’s commitment to the country’s progress, unity, and prosperity.
It underscored the importance of working together to achieve the vision of a developed and educated India.
The event also aligned with the ongoing celebrations of ‘Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav,’ commemorating 75 years of India’s independence, and promoted the spirit of ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh,’ urging everyone to contribute to the nation’s growth and welfare.
