Kishtwar, Aug 8: In a determined effort to combat the drug menace, the Kishtwar Police have successfully executed an operation to eradicate wild cannabis plants from the Marwah and Dachhan areas.
Under the guidance of SSP Kishtwar, Khalil Poswal-JKPS, a meticulously planned operation was carried out by SHO PS Marwah, Inspector Shahnawaz Wani, and Inspector Zaheer Iqbal, SHO PS Dachhan. This operation was aimed at addressing the issue of wild cannabis plants in the region. The dedicated efforts of the police force bore fruit as a significant quantity of wild cannabis plants was discovered and subsequently destroyed.
