| DC discusses revenue related matters, services | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 10: Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Avny Lavasa today reviewed the functioning of Revenue department and discussed revenue related matters/services along with status and progress of the development projects and schemes being implemented in the district here at a meeting at DC Office Complex.
ADC L&O Harvinder Singh, ACR Piyush Dhotra, SDMs, Tehsildars along with senior officers from Revenue department were present in the meeting.
The Deputy Commissioner took a detailed review regarding writing and digitization of remaining Jamabandis, implementation of SVAMITVA scheme, status of eviction of unauthorised occupants from state land, disposal of revenue court cases on RCCMS portal, issuance of online Fard Intikhab and other services, attestation of pending Mutations, acquisition of land and compensation etc.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasised on digitising Mussavis and re-creating dilapidated Mussavis to streamline land records. The chair also discussed the need for attention to detail in the correction of Jamabandies to ensure accurate land records.
While reviewing the progress regarding updation of Jamabandis and its digitization, attestation of mutations and writing of Girdawaris, the DC directed the Tehsildars to complete the same as soon as possible.
She set timelines for the concerned officers for speedy submission of details of mutations and updation of Jamabandis/Girdawari.
Regarding disbursement of e-rent, the Deputy Commissioner instructed the officers to disburse the rent to the beneficiaries without further delay.
The Deputy Commissioner also directed the Tehsildars for speedy disposal of court cases related to revenue and upload accordingly.
The Deputy Commissioner asked the SDMs to ensure prompt compensation and swift resolution of all pending cases. |
