Security meeting held for Independence Day preparations

JAMMU, Aug 12: In anticipation of the upcoming Independence Day celebrations, a meeting was convened by Sh. Mohan Lal Kaith, SSP Railways Jammu, in his office chamber to discuss and review the security arrangements. The meeting saw the participation of key officials, including Smt. Albeena Malik, SDPO Railways Jammu, Sh Naresh Kumar, DySP GRP Lines Jammu/ SHO GRP Jammu/IC PPs, and other GRP Jammu officers.
The primary objective of the meeting was to enhance the security measures at Jammu Railway Station. Attendees shared valuable insights and suggestions regarding security enhancements specific to the railway station. SSP Railways Jammu emphasized the need for heightened vigilance and alertness among the Nafri personnel stationed on the ground. Their attentiveness and proactiveness are crucial in thwarting any potential threats posed by anti-national elements (ANEs) and anti-social elements (ASEs), given the prevailing security challenges.
The meeting also underscored the importance of closely monitoring parking areas, drone activities, and the possibility of fidayeen attacks. SSP Railways Jammu directed all officers present to ensure that security personnel remain on high alert during their assigned duties. By maintaining a heightened state of awareness, the authorities aim to ensure the safety and security of the public during the upcoming Independence Day celebrations.
