Stephens Group of Institutions successfully hosts 1st Intra College Boys Cricket Tournament 2023

JAMMU, Aug 21: The campus of Stephens Group of Institutions came alive with the spirit of sportsmanship as the inaugural Intra College Boys Cricket Tournament 2023 reached its thrilling culmination. The event showcased the college's commitment to fostering camaraderie, healthy competition, and the holistic development of its students.
The much-awaited final match took place between the students of B.Sc. (Nursing) 3rd year and B.Sc. (Nursing) 2nd year, creating an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation. In a closely contested battle, B.Sc. (N) 3rd year emerged victorious, securing a triumph by 4 wickets. The match witnessed outstanding performances and exceptional teamwork on both sides.
The title of "Man of the Match" was awarded to Salman Syed Sofi, who showcased exemplary skills and sportsmanship throughout the game. Additionally, the "Man of the Series" award was bestowed upon Soelib Khan, recognizing his consistent contributions, and the "Best Bowler" trophy was presented to Hamid Maqbool for his impressive bowling performance.
The esteemed Manoj Kotru, Administrator of Stephens Group of Institutions, had the honor of presenting the Winner Trophy to the triumphant B.Sc. (N) 3rd year team. Medals were also conferred upon the winners by Kotru and the respected faculty members of the institution, who expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the outstanding performances exhibited by the participants.
The successful execution of the tournament was the result of meticulous planning and coordination. Hamid Maqbool, Owais Sabri, and Akshat Sharma, the incharges of the tournament, worked tirelessly under the guidance of Professor Ritu Gupta, the Activity Incharge, and the supervision of Manoj Kotru. Their dedication ensured that the event ran smoothly and left a lasting impression on all participants.
The successful organization of the 1st Intra College Boys Cricket Tournament marked a significant step in the institution's commitment to promoting a culture of sportsmanship, teamwork, and holistic development among its students.
