PM Modi's initiatives improve women's health: Rekha Mahajan

JAMMU, Aug 26: Rekha Mahajan, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) District President Jammu South, inaugurated a Public AYUSH awareness and promotion cum Medical Health Checkup Camp for women in collaboration with the Directorate of Ayush, J&K, under the "Har Ghar Ayush" initiative. The event took place in the Belicharana area of Gandhi Nagar Mandal, Bahu Assembly Constituency, in District Jammu South. The camp was organized by Mahila Morcha District Jammu South President Divya Jain, the Morcha team, and the Mandal team as part of the Mahila Outreach Programme, running from August 26 to September 5.
Rekha Mahajan was accompanied by Narinder Koki (District Vice President), Amit Sharma (District Secretary, Prabhari Mahila Morcha), Pummi Choudhary (District Secretary), Bharat Bhushan (Mandal President), and other prominent party members.
In her speech, Rekha Mahajan highlighted the improvements in women's overall health under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She emphasized the benefits of Ayurveda in building immunity and urged people to pay attention to the initiatives of the AYUSH Ministry. She emphasized that women's good health contributes to overall happiness and recommended adopting herbal medicines to enhance body immunity as a proactive measure against various diseases.
Rekha Mahajan discussed the impact and instrumental role of Ayurveda in daily life, mentioning Prime Minister Modi's appeal to boost immunity by following guidelines based on Ayurveda. She commended the Ayush department for its proactive steps and free Ayurvedic healthcare services, especially for women with diabetes. The camp included health check-up camps and public lectures to raise awareness about diabetes and its prevention.
The event showcased the government's commitment to promoting holistic health and wellness among women, reflecting the broader mission of the "Har Ghar Ayush" initiative to integrate traditional healthcare systems into mainstream healthcare services.
