SDM reviews progress of Development projects in Gool

RAMBAN, Aug 26: Sub Divisional Magistrate, Gool, Tanveer-ul-Majid today convened a meeting of officers to review the progress on developmental works of various sectors being executed by the different departments besides implementation of different beneficiary oriented schemes in the district.
Reviewing the progress and achievements made by the various departments under different schemes, the SDM fixed the targets for the completion of developmental projects in larger public interests.
Assessing the progress on water supply schemes of Jal Jeevan Mission being executed by the Jal Shakti Department in Sub-Division Gool, the SDM informed that with the completion of these water supply schemes the requirement of potable water shall be fulfilled for the convenience of the people.
He took scheme wise appraisal from the officers of PMGSY, PWD (R&B), Revenue, Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry and Sheep Husbandry departments regarding progress on ongoing road projects, building works and implementation of public oriented schemes of their respective departments. The officers were directed to ensure quality of work and timely service delivery to the people. He also reviewed the status of implementation of DBT transactions under all government schemes.
The stakeholder departments were asked to lay maximum thrust on encouraging unemployed youth to avail HADP scheme benefits to set up start ups in agricultural and allied sectors.
