SDM chairs meeting to review developmental projects, beneficiary schemes in Banihal

RAMBAN, Aug 26: Sub Divisional Magistrate Banihal, Zaheer Abbas Bhat today convened a meeting to review the implementation of developmental projects being executed in the Sub Division under different sectors.
The meeting was attended by all Sub Divisional, Block and Tehsil level Officers and it discussed the status of projects undertaken by different departments with special focus on JJM, PMGSY, NABARD, HADP. The meeting also reviewed the implementation of PMEGP, PM Kissan Nidhi and Bankers Schemes, besides discussing activity plan for Digital Week.
Executive Engineer (R&B) PWD and PMGSY gave detailed previews of the ongoing schemes in the Sub division and they were advised to complete the projects within 2 months and 1 month respectively. Likewise, Assistant Executive Engineer Jal Shakti & JPDCL also provided physical and financial progress of schemes pertaining to their sectors. They were advised to complete the projects within a period of 4 months. The meeting also laid special stress on the effective implementation of self-employment schemes offered by different departments like Horticulture, Sheep and Animal Husbandry, Agriculture, Fisheries, Social Welfare and ICDS.
The SDM directed all Concerned to make all these schemes more youth oriented and also run a robust IEC campaign so that the benefits of these schemes percolates to ground level.
The meeting also discussed the Activity plan for the digital week starting from 31st of August to 6th of September, 2023.
Meanwhile, it was conveyed that all departments shall initiate IEC Campaign to promote DIGI Mela-2023 under the tagline DIGITAL JK UNNAT JK.
