“Meri Mati Mera Desh” National Campaign: JKAP 4th Security Battalion Organizes Inspirational Event at Suchetgarh Border

Suchetgarh, R S Pura, Aug 27: In a heartwarming display of patriotism and community collaboration, the JKAP 4th Security Battalion Jammu organized a Road March and a Seminar under the National Campaign “Meri Mati Mera Desh” at Suchetgarh Border today. The event, held in partnership with the Students of Government High School Chowadhi and Aim 10 X Shooting Academy Jammu, showcased the unity and spirit of the local community.
The event commenced with a spirited Road March, followed by a fervent recital of the National Anthem.
The Seminar, held within the hallowed premises of Shri Ragunath Ji Temple at Suchetgarh, witnessed the enthusiastic participation of students from Government High School Chowadhi.
These young minds captivated the audience with their insightful speeches on the campaign’s theme, resonating with the spirit of national pride.
Adding a touch of artistry, the students also presented a captivating Group Dance performance, showcasing their exceptional talents. The event further resonated with patriotic fervor as Sgct Rajesh Virdi, Follower Showkat Ahmad, and Follower Vinod Kumar delivered heartwarming patriotic songs and enthralling mimicry acts that drew applause from the audience.
Highlighting the event was the presence of Inspector Kanchan Sharma, the spouse of Martyred Deputy Superintendent of Police Ghanishyam Khajuria, who bravely laid down his life while battling militants at Cargo, Srinagar on December 27th, 1999. Inspector Kanchan Sharma graced the event as the Chief Guest, accompanied by her son Ashish Khajuria. She was honored by the esteemed Commandant of the Battalion for her immense sacrifice for the nation.
Commandant Ashok Kumar Sharma, JKPS, of JKAP 4th Security Battalion extended a warm welcome to the Chief Guest and other participants.
In his succinct yet impactful speech, he praised the exceptional talent displayed by the students of Government High School Chowadhi. He expressed optimism that the nation’s future was secure in the hands of these promising young individuals and envisioned India as a global leader by the historic year 2047.
Inspector Shashi Kant Raina, I/C Adjutant, and Inspector Kewal Kumar Sharma, I/C Quarter Master of the Battalion, also shared their insightful thoughts with the audience. The event was graced by the presence of Smt. Anjum Kouser, a dedicated teacher from Government High School Chowadhi, who accompanied the students and was recognized for her contribution.
The event was expertly anchored by Sgct Dimple Billowria and Sgct Anita Sharma, who added a touch of humor and charm to the proceedings. The meticulous management of the event was overseen by ASI Shanti Saroop, HC Yoginder Khajuria, HC Zaffer Javed, and HC Geeta Devi.
The event culminated with a felicitation ceremony, where the Chief Guest, participating students, and four accomplished players from Aim 10 X Shooting Academy were presented with mementos and cash rewards. The attendees then witnessed the awe-inspiring Beating The Retreat Ceremony at the Octroi BSF Border Post, concluding the event on a note of pride and unity.
The “Meri Mati Mera Desh” campaign echoed with resounding success as it brought together various facets of the community, fostering a sense of patriotism, unity, and hope for a brighter future.
This event is a testament to the unwavering commitment of individuals and organizations toward the betterment of the nation.
