JAMMU, Aug 27: The Indian Youth Congress (iYC) proudly announces Aakash Bharat as the newly elected J&K Youth Congress Chief. A dynamic and determined personality, Aakash Bharat hails from Basohli in the Kathua district and has emerged victorious in the elections, securing the highest number of votes from Youth Congress members in J&K.
Aakash Bharat earned 13,948 votes in the Youth Congress election held in March 2023. Romi Kumar received 6,534 votes, and Divyansh Jamwal secured 5,997 votes. Aakash Bharat’s achievement is notable as he becomes the first individual from the Basohli Kathua district to hold a prestigious position within a national party, demonstrating his dedication and loyalty to the party.
Aakash Bharat’s elevation to the role of JKPYC (Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress) Chief is a direct result of his unwavering commitment to empowering the youth, promoting community development, and advocating for progressive policies. His exceptional leadership qualities have earned him the trust and support of his peers within the Youth Congress, leading to his selection as President.
