Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 28: Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, held a meeting with Union Minister of State for Development of North Eastern Region and Ministry of Co-operation, B.L Verma, today to discuss matters related to the empowerment of youth in Jammu and Kashmir.
During the meeting, Gupta shared valuable insights with Union Minister B.L Verma regarding the current state of affairs in Jammu and Kashmir. Gupta emphasized the transformative initiatives that have been undertaken by the Modi government since the abrogation of Article 370. He noted that these initiatives have brought about a significant era of development in the region.
Gupta highlighted the efforts of the Jammu and Kashmir government in creating new opportunities for the youth in the employment sector and nurturing entrepreneurship among the youth of the region.
Union Minister B.L Verma spoke about Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visionary commitment to achieve a 3 Trillion Economy by 2027. He stressed that this ambitious goal would create numerous opportunities for the youth all across the country.
Verma encouraged the youth of Jammu and Kashmir to broaden their aspirations and not solely rely on government jobs. He urged them to take advantage of centrally sponsored schemes and work towards becoming creators of employment opportunities rather than just job seekers. This approach, he mentioned, aligns with the broader goals of self-reliance and entrepreneurship set forth by the Modi government.
The meeting between Kavinder Gupta and Union Minister Verma highlights the ongoing efforts to empower the youth of Jammu and Kashmir and provide them with various avenues for economic growth and development.
