REASI, Sept 2: The District Employment and Counseling Centre in Reasi, in collaboration with ITI Reasi as the training provider, inaugurated a three-month skill development training program focused on "Data Entry Operator" on September 1, 2023. The event was honored by the presence of Dr. Khalid Hussain Malik (JKAS), Joint Director Employment, Jammu, who graced the occasion as the chief guest. Dr. Malik underscored the paramount importance of skill development in narrowing the gap between job seekers and job providers. He emphasized the need for courses like these, considering that almost all services are now conducted online, making computer knowledge indispensable. With the continued success of digitization and internet connectivity, the demand for computer skills is expected to rise further, opening up lucrative job opportunities in both the private and public sectors.
Rekha Rani (JKAS), Assistant Director of Employment, extended a warm welcome to all participants and dignitaries present. She encouraged the youth to wholeheartedly embrace the course, recognizing that it could significantly enhance their employment prospects in the modern job market.
The launch of this skill development program reflects the commitment of the District Employment and Counseling Centre, Reasi, to empower local youth with relevant skills and bridge the gap between job seekers and employers in the digital age.
