Modi govt made 'historic achievements' during its nine years: Ritika

JAMMU, Sept 9: Chief Spokesperson BJP Mahila Morcha J&KUT Ritika Trehan today said that Modi government made "historic achievements" during its nine years in office and India is marching ahead with full confidence, enthusiasm and a resolve to become a developed country. She said Prime Minister Narendra Modi keeps the resolution of 'Antyodaya' and service paramount in his policies, and his government is ensuring that benefits of welfare schemes reach the last man in the queue.
Ritika said basic needs like health, education, economic self-reliance, road, water, electricity reached the country's remote areas during the nine years of the prime minister Modi's government. "Nine years of the Modi government have been of service, good governance and public welfare," she said. "Historic achievements have been made in the areas of national security, self-reliance, global prestige, economic strengthening etc."
Ritika said the reach of the government's welfare schemes is being ensured to the person at the end of the queue. Basic needs have reached remote areas," she said. India is moving forward on the path of development at a fast pace, she added. "Inspired by the spirit of 'Nation First', our government has given a new direction to India's destiny and future through several epoch-making decisions," she said. "Respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji's resolution of 'Panch Pran' shows us the way."
"In the last nine years, the Modi government has given the nation four strong pillars, which are respect, internal and external security, the welfare of the underprivileged, and infrastructure development," Ritika said.Citing various central schemes, she said the Modi government has provided water connections to 12 crore households in nine years and given 9.60 crore cooking gas connections under the Ujjwala Yojna .It has helped 80 crore people by providing them foodgrains under PM Garib Kalyan Ann Yojna and covered 50 crore beneficiaries under the Ayushman Bharat Health Insurance Scheme.
Ritika said the Centre had constructed 3.5 crore houses for the poor and 11.72 crore toilets, provided 9.6 crore gas connections, given free treatment to more than 60 crore persons and free rations to more than 80 crore persons. She said it was due to the all-round development ushered in by the government that leading economists and analysts the world over are of the view that the "21st century belongs to India."
