KISHTWAR, Sept 9: The Apni Party has heightened its membership drive in Kishtwar district due to the positive response received regarding the party’s policies and agenda.
Local Apni Party leaders, including Masood Mattoo, organized a significant meeting at the district headquarters in Kishtwar.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Rohit Gupta, who serves as the Provincial Secretary and is responsible for overseeing the Membership Drive for the Apni Party. Mohinder Parihar, the State Secretary of the Apni Party, and Sheikh Abdul Latief, the Vice President of Apni Trade Union, were also in attendance, along with other party officials.
District Committee members used the meeting as an opportunity to address the issues faced by the local population, discuss their grassroots efforts, and provide updates on the progress of the membership drive in the hilly district, which has been gaining support from the community at the grassroots level.
Dr. Rohit Gupta stressed the need for party officials to accelerate the membership drive and maintain regular interactions with the public to educate them about the party’s policies and agenda. He highlighted the party’s objectives, including fostering unity between regions, promoting peace, and achieving prosperity.
State Secretary Mohinder Parihar also delivered remarks during the meeting, addressing various issues affecting the district, particularly those impacting rural and hilly areas, such as underdevelopment, unemployment, inadequate healthcare, educational challenges, and more. Notably, several individuals joined the Apni Party during the meeting, expressing their confidence in the leadership of Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari, the party’s prominent figure.
This intensified membership drive in Kishtwar reflects the party’s commitment to expanding its base and addressing the concerns of the local population.
