Early Times Report

JAMMU, Sept 10: The All Jammu Based Reserved Category Employees Association Kashmir (AJBRCEAK) expressed its gratitude to the Lt Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, along with Chief Secretary Arun Kumar Mehta, Divisional Commissioner Shri Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, and Commissioner Secretary GAD Sanjeev Verma for treating the absence period of the last year as on duty for all Jammu-based reserved category employees.
In a press statement, the Chairman of the Association, Vipen Kumar, conveyed his appreciation to the Administration for promptly resolving the issue related to the protest period during the tumultuous phase of targeted killings last year. This issue had placed Jammu-based reserved category employees in a precarious situation.
Kumar emphasized that this decision is a morale booster for all the employees who faced a challenging situation last year. He expressed hope that the long-pending demand for a Comprehensive Transfer Policy, as committed by the Lt Governor, will be notified soon. The employees working in Kashmir are eagerly awaiting this policy, which is expected to be a milestone for Jammu-based reserved category employees appointed in Kashmir.
President AJBRCEAK, Anil Radhey, also extended special thanks to the Lt Governor for addressing the genuine issues of Jammu-based reserved category employees. He noted that this employee-friendly approach by the administration would undoubtedly address their problems and expressed optimism that all issues of Jammu-based employees would be resolved soon.
Both Chairman and President AJBRCEAK reiterated that the administration stands with the employees, and they hope that all genuine concerns of Jammu-based employees will be addressed in the coming days.
