DARHAL, Sept 27: In commemoration of Gandhi Jayanti, students from Government Degree College (GDC) Darhal participated in the 'Inter College Declamation Contest' held at Government P.G. College Rajouri on September 26, 2023. The event aimed to propagate the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi, with a focus on truth and non-violence, under the theme "Truth and Non-Violence: Gandhian Approach to Life." The contest witnessed enthusiastic participation from students representing various colleges across District Rajouri.
In a remarkable achievement, Shariq Ali Bin Ghulam, a student in the 5th semester of B.A., secured the prestigious 3rd position in the competition. His success not only reflects his dedication but also brings pride to the faculty and fellow students of GDC Darhal.
