Police arrest three rape accused, emphasizing stern action against crimes against women

JAMMU, Sept 29: In a resolute move to combat crimes against women, the Samba Police, under the unwavering guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Benam Tosh, have successfully apprehended three rape suspects within the jurisdiction of the Samba Police Station.
The individuals in custody have been identified as Rohit Kumar, a resident of Arnia in district Jammu; Rohit Saini, also from Arnia, district Jammu; and Romi Kumar, hailing from Samba. The commendable efforts that led to these arrests were spearheaded by SHO (Station House Officer) Daljit Singh of the Samba Police Station, operating under the vigilant supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Garu Ram and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.
This crucial operation was conducted in strict accordance with the directives of SSP Benam Tosh, who has made it a top priority to address and combat crimes against women in the Samba district. The police have undertaken sensitive investigations into cases related to crimes against women, with a particular focus on those involving allegations of rape, molestation, domestic violence, and assault. Those individuals found to be involved in such heinous acts and subsequently proven guilty by the diligent work of the police force are being arrested and brought to justice under the prevailing laws.
The actions taken by the Samba Police under the leadership of SSP Benam Tosh reaffirm their commitment to ensuring the safety and security of women in the region.
