Kishtwar, Oct 3: Police have made a significant breakthrough in solving the Zelna Case burglary, which took place on the night of September 23rd and 24th, 2023.
The burglary at the Zelna Case residence on the night of September 23rd and 24th, 2023, led to the registration of Case FIR No. 226/2023 under various sections.
A Special Investigation Team (SIT) was formed, led by Dy. SP Hqrs Kishtwar, Dr. Ishan Gupta, and Insp Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday, SHO PS Kishtwar, under the supervision of IC Addl. SP Kishtwar.
The SIT worked diligently to apprehend the suspects and uncovered crucial details related to the burglary.
The arrested individual, identified as Akshay Kumar, provided information leading to the identification of other accomplices involved in the crime.
The entire town of Kishtwar is under CCTV coverage, with 24x7 monitoring by a specialized team, which played a crucial role in apprehending the thieves.
SSP Kishtwar, Mr. Poswal-JKPS, commended the efforts of the SIT and the effectiveness of the CCTV surveillance system in solving the case.
The swift and efficient action taken by Kishtwar Police, with the assistance of the CCTV surveillance unit, led to the arrest of the burglars involved in the Zelna Case burglary, ensuring justice for the victims. |
