Kishtwar, Oct 3: In a significant breakthrough, the Kishtwar Police have successfully apprehended a major burglar and recovered stolen items with an estimated value of lakh of rupees.
Kishtwar Police apprehended a burglar within 24 hours and recovered stolen items worth lakhs of rupees.
The incident was reported on October 2, 2023, when unknown individuals stole mobile phones and mobile accessories from a shop.
A case (FIR No. 238/2023) was registered under Section 379/IPS, and an investigation was initiated.
A special team led by Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday, with the assistance of PSI Happy Choudhary, successfully arrested the main accused, identified as Harris Hussain.
The recovered items included mobile phones, mobile accessories, glue tubes, and mobile ICs.
