World Standards Day is celebrated annually on 14 October by member countries of the IEC, ISO, and ITU to honor the collaborative efforts of experts who develop standards.
The event was graced by Sh. Pramod Kumar Tiwari, IAS, Director General of BIS, who delivered his opening remarks via video conference.
