DC reviews achievements under developmental deliverables

DODA, Oct 13: An exhaustive list of deliverables have been assigned to all the departments in the UT to ensure greater efficiency in the overall governance, and has laid down monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly targets for the departments. These developmental contours not only define the quality and quantity of departmental services to be ensured in a time-bound manner, but also envision enhanced efficiency and productivity through greater inter-departmental convergence and coordination.
To review the action taken on deliverables for the year 2023-24, by various departments in the district, the Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Mahajan today convened a meeting of the officers, here in the Conference Hall of DC office Complex. The DC took a comprehensive review of all the 310 Developmental Deliverables under implementation by various Departments and directed the officers to submit the updated achievements regularly and focus on adherence to the timeline set by the government. CPO Doda, Suresh Kumar apprised the Deputy Commissioner about the progress made so far and future action plan. The DC urged the officers to put in extra efforts to improve the Ranking of District Doda on the performance index. He asked the departments to think innovative, highlight their achievements and best practices in delivering their services.
The DC also exhorted the departments to submit the issues hampering the achievements in developmental deliverables for timely intervention from the authorised person to achieve the desired results in time. He impressed upon the officers to improve monitoring and assessment of performance at different levels.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Doda Pran Singh, ADC Doda Dr R K Bharti, CPO Doda Suresh Kumar, SE PWD RP Gupta, SE Hydraulic Circle Doda Anil Gupta, ACR Doda Sanjeev Kumar, GM DIC Doda Idrees Lone, DIO Doda, DSWO, AD FCS&CA, CHO, CAHO, DSHO, CAO, Dy Director Sericulture, AD Floriculture, District Officer Legal Metrology, District Officer AYUSH, Executive Engineers of PWD/ JSD/ JPDCL/ Mechanical and other concerned officers.
