Reasi, Oct 13: 55 RRET, RET and EVS teachers in the district of Reasi allege discrimination as these dedicated educationists have been deprived of their salaries for the past 3-4 years, leading to severe hardships and challenges in their daily lives. Several among these teachers as a delegation called on Chief Education Officer (Reasi), who expressed her inability to disburse their salaries due to a lack of funds. She assured them that she had forwarded the salary requirements to the Director of School Education in Jammu. However, despite her efforts, the situation remains unchanged, and the hapless teachers continue to suffer due to financial instability, which hampers their day to day domestic responsibilities and fail to maintain a decent quality of life. While talking to Early Times Frustrated and teachers have appealed to LG Manoj Sinha urging him tointervene into this matter. They implore LG to take immediate action to address this issue and ensure that these dedicated educators receive their long-overdue salaries, allowing them to lead their lives without the burden of unpaid wages. |
