RAMGARH, Oct 14: The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit-Prabha of Government Degree College Ramgarh organized the screening of a documentary on 'Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan' as part of the Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav. The program was conducted under the supervision and leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjali Andotra, Principal of the College.
A documentary was screened in the college's smart classroom to raise awareness among students about drug abuse. The Principal of the college addressed the students, highlighting the harmful effects of drug abuse on both the body and mind, as well as the potential damage it can cause to one's bright future.
Dr. Shamsher Lal, the NSS Program Officer, shared his insights on the issue of drug abuse and motivated students to refrain from substance abuse. He encouraged students to embrace sports and yoga activities as a part of their daily lives to enhance their performance in sports and sharpen their minds, instead of falling into drug addiction. The event was attended by the college's teaching staff, and the student participants enthusiastically watched the documentary, making the event a success. |
