Here’s to dreaming even bigger, innovating more and pushing newer frontiers....” The Prime Minister highlighted the growing role of young engineers, designers, coders and scientists in strengthening India’s rapidly expanding space ecosystem. He also underlined the increasing contribution of private talent and said the country’s achievements in space were inspiring a new generation of young Indians to aspire to become scientists. India’s space programme has expanded significantly in recent years, with greater emphasis on private sector participation, startups and technological innovation alongside the work of established space institutions. National Space Day is observed to celebrate India’s achievements in space exploration and the country’s growing ambitions in science and technology.
