DC, SSP participate in Dussehra celebrations

DODA, Oct 24: The Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Mahajan, along with Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Abdul Qayoom, actively participated in the Dussehra celebrations held in Doda and Bhaderwah.
The DC and SSP joined the community in celebrating the festival and took the opportunity to engage with the residents, urging them to follow the life and principles of Lord Rama for the betterment of Doda and the Union Territory.
The DC and SSP, along with other prominent officials, graced the Dussehra celebrations and conveyed their warm wishes to the people of Doda.
They emphasized the significance of Lord Rama’s life and teachings, highlighting the importance of righteousness, sacrifice, and respect for all beings.
During their address to the gathering, the DC stressed the need for unity, communal harmony, and the adoption of ethical practices in personal and public life. He further underscored the importance of working collectively towards making Doda and the UT a peaceful, prosperous, and heavenly place to live.
The SSP, during his address, highlighted the various developmental initiatives implemented by the administration to uplift the living standards of the people in Doda. He encouraged the residents to actively participate in these initiatives and contribute wholeheartedly to the progress of the region.
