JAMMU, Nov 1: GDC Batote joyously commemorated the JK UT Foundation Day (Badalta Jammu and Kashmir) by hosting a series of intra-college competitions on October 25th, 2023. Students participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing their talents and creative abilities.
In the Essay writing competition, the winners were as follows:
1st place: Miss Priya Devi, 2nd place: Sonali Sharma and 3rd place: Zahida Kouser
In the Painting competition, the winners were as follows:
1st place: Miss Pinkey Devi, 2nd place: Arun Atri and 3rd place: Ravinder Anthal
A Photography and Videography competition also took place, and Shadab Bhat and Sunil Kumar were chosen to represent the college at the district-level contests hosted by GDC Ramban. Shadab Bhat clinched the 1st position in the photography competition, while Priya Devi and Pinkey Devi secured the 2nd positions in the Essay and Painting competitions, respectively. The first-place winners were felicitated by the nodal Principal at GCW Parade, Jammu, on October 31st, 2023.
To celebrate these outstanding accomplishments, GDC Batote organized a Prize Distribution Ceremony on November 1st, 2023, where the winners received certificates of appreciation and gleaming medals. |
