Prime Minister Modi made this monumental announcement in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, reaffirming his government's unwavering commitment to the welfare of the impoverished. The Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, a lifeline for millions during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, will continue to provide essential food grains through the public distribution system.

Then, I decided that I will not let any poor sleep hungry, hence the BJP government started the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana." Suri commended this visionary and compassionate approach from a statesman who deeply cares for his people and country.
Suri also acknowledged the relentless efforts of the government in making this initiative a reality. He recognized that this extension will positively impact the lives of millions, ensuring that no one goes to bed hungry. The Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, initiated in 2020, has been providing 5 kg of free food grains per person per month to over 80 crore people, earning appreciation worldwide. |
