| Govt Degree College RS Pura organizes the seminar | | |  Early Times Report
RS PURA, Nov 9: In continuation to the celebration of The Constitution Day 2023, the Department of Political Science and NCC Boys Cadets of Govt. Degree College R.S. Pura in collaboration with Tehsil Legal Services authority R. S. Pura under the aegis of IQAC organized a lecture under the guidance of the worthy Principal Dr Rajni today on 9 th November 2023. The lecture was based on the theme "Co-relation between Fundamental Rights and
Fundamental Duties". The resource person namely Advocate Rita Sarangal elaborated on the evolution of the Fundamental rights and how it adapted to the changing situations in the country. She highlighted the highlighted the essence of Fundamental rights and emphasized on the balance between the Fundamental rights and Fundamental Duties.
The other resource person, Advocate Kesar Parveen spoke on Free Legal Aid and highlighted the role of the Tehsil Legal Services authority R.S. Pura provides justice to the poor and needy. She highlighted on the free access to justice to the vulnerable section of the society in cases of Child Abuse, Domestic Violence and poor economically weaker sections.
She explained the free legal services available to the needy in the court and introduced the volunteers of the free legal aid to the students. She emphasized on the spread of information regarding these free of cost legal services to the society.
