'Stay up-to-date in era of fast services delivery': Sachin tells district officers

JAMMU, Nov 10: District Development Commissioner Jammu, Sachin Kumar Vaishya, in a meeting held today here in his office, mobilised the district administration for the upcoming Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.
The yatra aims to raise awareness about the Government's achievements and promote the scope and benefits of Centrally Sponsored Schemes among beneficiaries.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Dr Vinod Kumar was also present in the meeting.
During the meeting, the DDC stressed the importance of flagship schemes and stressed on the need for effective projection of the same to maximise their impact.
He further urged officers to stay informed about the latest data on beneficiaries and scheme coverage, stating, "In this era of swift governance, it is pertinent that all officers remain up-to-date and ready for the next stages of services delivery."
As part of the yatra, a Digital Van will traverse panchayats and municipal wards, delivering the Prime Minister's message and hosting promotional events. The district administration will prepare a comprehensive schedule to cover all blocks and urban areas, with Nodal Officers assigned specific duties for a smooth yatra passage, the DC said.
Prominent schemes slated for promotion include PM SVANidhi, PM Vishwakarma, PM Ujjwala Yojana, PM Mudra Loan, Startup India, Standup India, Ayushman Bharat-PMJAY, PM Awas Yojana (Urban), Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Urban), PM Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Pariyojana, Khelo India for urban areas and for rural areas, Ayushman Bharat-PMJAY, PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana, PM Awas Yojana (Rural), PM Kisan Saman, Kisan Credit Card and Har Ghar Jal - Jal Jeevan Mission.
The meeting was attended by Sub Divisional Magistrates, District Informatics Officer, Sanjeev Kapoor; ACD Preeti Sharma; Chief Planning Officer, Yoginder Katoch; Chief Medical Officer, Dr Harbaksh Singh and District Social Welfare Officer, Mamta Rajput in addition to various district officers.
