Kavinder, Swami Hariday Nand Giri pay tributes to martyrs

JAMMU, Nov 10: Kavinder Gupta, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Jammu and Kashmir has asserted that the nation shall always remain indebted to its martyrs due to whose supreme sacrifices the people continue to enjoy peaceful life devoid of any safety and safety concerns.
He expressed this in his address during a programme in Gandhi Nagar here today. The programme was organised by Shastri Nagar Yog Samiti under the leadership of Swami Hariday Nand Giri Ji under theme "Ek Diya Shaheedon Ke Naam'. Baldev Singh Billawaria, Deputy Mayor and Councillor Pawan Singh also graced the occasion.
Kavinder Gupta, while speaking on the occasion, lauded the organizers for holding this event and emphasized that such commemorative programmes to pay tribute to the martyrs for their extraordinary valour, bravery and last but not the least for their supreme sacrifice for their motherland and its people are necessary to create awareness among the people about the nation's brave-hearts. It is these martyrs that become inspiration for the progeny thus instilling a deep sense of patriotism among them, he added.
Kavinder reiterated that the nation is eternally indebted to its martyrs for their sacrifices and unwavering dedication.
Swami Hariday Nand Giri Ji, while speaking on the occasion, highlighted the glorification of martyrs in significant Hindu Shastras and scriptures. He said that Shastri Nagar Yog Samiti will continue to hold such events regularly.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Vinay Gupta, Deepak Muglani, Davinder Vaid, Dr Rajinder Singh, Balwant Chowdhary, Krishan Bhatia, Narinder Koki, Nancy Koul, Suraj Sharma and Daleep Jafrani.
