The course, initiated on 7th November 2023, aimed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively combat corruption.
The training program meticulously covered various facets of corruption, including the associated legal frameworks. Guest faculty from ACB J&K, FSL J&K, and CID J&K provided valuable insights throughout the course.
Key topics covered during the program included Anti-Corruption definitions, policies, laws, an introduction to the Prevention of Corruption Act 2006, identification of suspects through handwriting analysis in Anti-Corruption cases, investigation into abuse of official position, bank fraud cases, preventive vigilance with a special reference to the Public Men and Public Servants (Declaration of Assets and other Provisions) Act 1993, guidelines for investigating officers on the collection of relevant documents/evidence, and investigation of disproportionate assets cases.
To mark the successful conclusion of the course, a Valediction function was organized at the Academy, with Sh. Rajinder Kumar Gupta, IPS, SSP, Dy. Director (Indoor) SKPA, serving as the chief guest.
