Constitution day celebration at central Sanskrit university held

Jammu, Nov 26: Central Sanskrit University, Kot Bhalwal, observed Constitution Day on November 26, 2023, with a program presided over by Professor Satish Kumar Kapoor, Executive Director of the University and Head of the Faculty of Literature.
The chief guest for the event was Advocate Neeta Verma, a renowned legal professional and Chairperson of the Human Rights Mission of Jammu and Kashmir State.
Advocate Neeta Verma, addressing the gathering, highlighted that Constitution Day, previously celebrated as “Law Day,” was officially designated as Constitution Day in 2015 by the government.
She emphasized the importance of recognizing and celebrating this day as it aligns with the fundamental principles of law and governance.
Professor Satish Kumar Kapoor, Chairman of the program, encouraged everyone to observe Constitution Day by interpreting the Constitution in alignment with Vedic and Indian knowledge traditions.
This perspective aims to integrate traditional wisdom with constitutional principles.
Dr. Madan Kumar Jha coordinated the program, ensuring its smooth execution. Dr. Anoop Kumar Pandey and Dr. Vivek Kumar served as coordinators for the Constitution Day celebration, contributing to the organization and success of the event.
The program saw active participation from distinguished university professors, including Dr. Devendra Mishra, Dr. Shubhashree Dash, Dr. Praveen Mani Tripathi, Dr. Khem Narayan, Dr. Sibasish Pagal, Dr. Hariom, Dr. Akhilesh Pandey, Dr. Punita, Dr. Ravikant, Dr. Ashish, along with approximately 300 students, including Shri Kundan Jha.
