GDC Udhampur organize book release function

Udhampur, Nov 26: In a bid to enrich the literary landscape at Government Degree College (GDC) Udhampur, a book titled ‘English Literature’ authored by Dr. Rupali Sharma was released on Saturday, November 25, 2023. The book release ceremony was conducted in a simple yet significant function at the college premises.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Romesh Kumar Gupta, the Principal of GDC Udhampur, along with other dignitaries, including Prof. Babu Lal Thakur (HoD Education), Dr. Naresh Sharma (HoD English), Sh. Rajinder Gupta, Sh. Rajneesh Mahajan, and Sh. Suresh Kumar, who are officials of the college.
Dr. Rupali Sharma’s book on English Literature marks her third literary contribution, following her earlier works on communication skills and media and communication. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Romesh Kumar Gupta commended the author’s efforts, stating that the book is a praiseworthy endeavor that deserves appreciation. He urged students to read the book, emphasizing its potential impact on generations to come. Prof. Babu Lal Thakur, during the ceremony, expressed gratitude for the support and cooperation that encourages scholars in their literary pursuits. He extended special thanks to Principal Prof. (Dr.) Romesh Kumar Gupta for wholeheartedly supporting such literary initiatives.
