| 25 grams of heroin recovered by Police station Domana | | |

Jammu, Nov 26: Continuing it’s drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, Jammu Police achieved major success by recovering 25 grams of heroin from one accused person in the jurisdiction of PS Domana.
A police team of PS Domana led by SDPO Domana Vishal Shoor assisted by SHO PS Domana Inspr Neeraj Choudhary and PSI Danish Qaiser Gazali while on patrolling duty at Machine Domana near Gurudwara rounded up a suspected person. On search, 25 grams of heroin was recovered from him.
In this regard a case FIR No 348/2023 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act got registered at PS Domana and accused was arrested. The accused arrested was later identified as :- Gurparsad Singh@ Taarzan S/o Harcharan Singh R/o Upper Gadi Garh Jammu.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
Jammu police is working intensively to uproot the chains of drug supply in the region and thorough questioning of the accused is going on to know the origin of the drugs supply chain.
