| 03 vehicles involved in illegal mining seized by Jammu Police | | |

Jammu, Nov 26: In a quest to stern the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which police teams of PS Akhnoor and BPP Gajansoo acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at a location in their respective area and seized 03 vehicles involved in illegal mining. Details of the vehicle seized are as under:
02 Vehicles i.e One Dumper bearing Registration No Jk20B-6723 and One JCB without Registration No, by PS Akhnoor.
One Tractor Trolley bearing Chassis No 10001827D, by BPP Gajansoo.
The recoveries were made by SHO PS Akhnoor Inspr Zaheer Mushtaq and I/C BPP Gajansoo ASI Ravinder Bushan in their respective jurisdictions.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
The mining was done in violation of order of Hon'ble High Court of J&k. In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action. |
